Best Games of 2022

Based on critic scores and popularity, the top games of 2022 are Elden Ring, God of War Ragnarök, and Vampire Survivors. Most 2022 games have been out for a few years, so they are often much cheaper now.

A Plague Tale: Requiem continued Amicia and Hugo's emotional journey, Stray let you explore a city of robots as a cat, and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection brought Nathan Drake to PC for the first time. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga packed all nine movies into one game, and Marvel's Midnight Suns mixed superheroes with card-based tactics.

Teardown lets you plan heists in a world where everything can be destroyed, Hardspace: Shipbreaker turns taking spaceships apart into something strangely relaxing, Rogue Legacy 2 perfected its family-of-heroes roguelite formula, and Return to Monkey Island brought back the classic adventure series.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a brutal co-op shooter for four players, Grounded lets you survive in a backyard as a shrunk-down kid with up to three friends, and Sniper Elite 5 has a campaign you can play together in co-op. For more games to play together, see our Co-op Games list.
