Want a superhero game but don't know whether to start with Spider-Man, Batman or a whole team of Avengers? It helps to think about what you want to do once the costume is on. Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered makes crossing Manhattan a joy. Batman: Arkham Knight has you watching armed guards from a rooftop. And Marvel's Midnight Suns gives you time to plan exactly where Iron Man should send his next blast.

These 33 superhero games on PC give you plenty of ways to get involved in 2026. You'll find solo campaigns, co-op adventures, fighting games and shorter card matches, alongside stories where being a hero gets complicated. Marvel and DC are well represented, with room for original heroes, the Ninja Turtles and a few darker games about what happens when someone gets far too much power.

Peter Parker's schedule is a mess, and swinging across Manhattan is the fun part of trying to keep up. Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered puts a capable, experienced Spider-Man in your hands, with gadgets and aerial attacks that let you bounce between enemies. The story also leaves time for the people who need Peter without the mask.

Take a break to photograph a landmark from a rooftop. A familiar piece of the skyline looks different when you can hop straight off it afterward.

2. Batman: Arkham Knight

Gliding into the middle of a street fight never stops looking like a Batman entrance. Batman: Arkham Knight opens Gotham up to rooftop hunts, gadget puzzles and encounters you can approach from above. The Batmobile adds chases and vehicle fights, so there's a lot to do between the main story's bigger set pieces.

Fear takedowns are a particular treat. Pick the right opening and Batman can drop into a group and take down several armed enemies before they can react.

3. Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy

Star-Lord can fire his blasters and jet around a fight, but the real job in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is getting the rest of the Guardians to work together. You order attacks while the team argues, jokes and occasionally says something that lands harder than expected. It's a good fit if the cast matters as much to you as the combat.

When a fight needs a boost, call a huddle. Peter gives a pep talk, and the music can kick back in with the whole team fired up.

4. Marvel's Midnight Suns

A good turn in Marvel's Midnight Suns starts with the cards in your hand and everything you can knock into an enemy. Position a hero, use an attack and watch for a chance to send somebody flying into a hazard. You're building a team around your own character, the Hunter, as a supernatural threat brings familiar heroes together.

Back at the Abbey, you can trade a battlefield conversation for a quieter one. Even Blade has time for a book club.

Brooklyn and Queens give Peter and Miles more ground to cover in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Both heroes bring their own abilities to fights, and the story swaps between their responsibilities as trouble builds around Kraven and the symbiote. Web wings add another way to get over the river or cross a wide stretch between buildings.

Find a wind tunnel and open the wings. You can skim along a fast current of air before swinging back into the streets.

Robert Robertson used to go into danger in a mech suit. In Dispatch, a broken suit puts him behind a desk, deciding which heroes should answer emergencies around Los Angeles. Those decisions sit alongside conversations and relationships with a team of former villains who don't always make the job easy.

An emergency on the map can be a test of how well you know your staff. The strongest hero in the office may be the wrong person for that particular call.

Want to settle an argument about who would win? Injustice 2 puts DC heroes and villains in one-on-one fights where a well-timed punish can lead into a long combo. There's a cinematic story to follow, and earning gear gives you ways to change the look and stats of your favorite fighter.

The super moves are where the restraint disappears. The Flash can take an opponent on a trip through time before returning them to the same spot in the arena.

8. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

A brick-built Gotham gives LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight plenty of room for rooftop trips and side activities between story missions. Grapple up a building, take the Batmobile out and see which bits of Batman history turn up along the way. The fighting has more bite than you might expect from the playful look.

The city is just as enjoyable when you slow down and look around. A sweeping cape and a skyline made of chunky pieces give a familiar Batman pose a very different charm.

Arkham Island is small enough to learn and strange enough to keep you looking over your shoulder. Batman: Arkham Asylum - Game of the Year Edition sends Batman through medical rooms, cell blocks and hidden passages after the Joker turns a transfer into a takeover. Gadgets open routes, but a room full of armed guards still calls for patience.

Stay above them on the gargoyles and listen as they grow more nervous. An enemy who was confident a moment ago can panic after finding a friend hanging upside down.

Pick two heroes before a stage in Marvel Cosmic Invasion and you've already started planning your favorite team-up. The Cosmic Swap system lets you change fighters during the action, so a hit from one hero can set up the other's next move. The pixel art gives everybody enough personality to make choosing a pair surprisingly difficult.

The roster reaches well beyond the usual Avengers. You can send Beta Ray Bill and Cosmic Ghost Rider into a fight against the Annihilation Wave.

Miles has his own neighborhood to protect in Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and the winter setting helps make the story feel close to home. Bioelectric attacks give fights a burst of extra power, while camouflage lets you disappear long enough to reposition or get the jump on somebody. It's a compact adventure that makes good use of both.

Harlem is especially lovely after dark. Snow catches the streetlights while Miles swings past the shops and apartments where people recognize him as their Spider-Man.

Four characters on a team means plenty of room to experiment in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. Try a familiar Marvel favorite, then work out which partners help you extend an attack or get out of trouble. Traditional and quicker inputs offer different ways to learn the controls, with practice giving you more say in how a fight unfolds.

The anime-inspired art goes big on the special attacks. A hit that starts as a simple opening can end with the screen full of sparks and your team rushing in.

Half the appeal of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is finding out what another character can do. A door might need the Hulk's strength, while a route above the street calls for someone who can fly. The story brings Marvel characters together, and the city gives you room to try their powers between missions.

Climb aboard the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier for a different view. Manhattan spreads out below, waiting for you to jump off and head back down toward the streets.

Family, friends and superhero work compete for Eve's attention in Invincible Presents: Atom Eve. Conversations give you choices about how she handles those pressures, with light turn-based fights breaking up the visual novel scenes. It's a good option when you want a story about a person learning what to do with enormous power.

The comic-book look suits Eve's abilities particularly well. Pink energy shapes flare across the battle as an otherwise ordinary conversation gives way to something only she can handle.

A walled-off district full of prisoners gives Batman: Arkham City a city where danger is never far away. Batman can glide between buildings and land near a side mission almost by accident. The main story moves quickly, but stopping to investigate another villain's scheme makes the setting feel busy from street level to the skyline.

Catwoman offers another way through parts of the city. A climb up the side of a building feels quite different when you're moving with her claws instead of Batman's grapnel.

Pushing a payload looks different when somebody on the other team can fill the street with a superhero power. Marvel Rivals is a free PvP shooter where movement, healing and good timing matter alongside aim. Team-Up abilities give particular combinations a reason to stick together. The people you pick can change what your teammates are able to do during a fight.

The villains have already won when Capes begins. Your job is to recruit heroes and think through how their powers can get a squad across the battlefield alive. Positioning matters because allies can help each other perform attacks in ways they couldn't manage alone. Each mission gives you another reason to learn a character beyond their biggest hit.

Take up to four heroes and look for their team-up options. A partner in the right spot can change the attack you're about to commit to.

Foot Soldiers keep piling into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, and the answer is usually to keep moving and keep hitting. Each fighter has their own reach and rhythm, so a favorite Turtle can be a different choice from the one that suits your play style. Co-op supports up to six players, with room for a wonderfully crowded screen.

The Channel 6 studio is a lovely opener. A normal broadcast falls apart around the Turtles as fights spill through its sets and equipment.

Some of the hardest decisions in Batman: The Telltale Series happen before Bruce puts on the cowl. You handle public pressure, talk to people who want something from the Wayne name and decide how to approach a Gotham mystery. Detective sequences and action scenes keep Batman involved, but the conversations give the story its sharpest turns.

A calm response can matter as much as a threat. Watch the person across from Bruce closely when a question suddenly gets too personal.

Kang's city in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is stitched together from places and time periods that were never supposed to share a border. Chronopolis gives you excuses to wander into a different Marvel setting and try another hero's powers. It's a colorful adventure to share through local co-op, especially if you enjoy collecting characters as you go.

Walking from futuristic scenery into the Wild West makes the city's premise click. Kang has effectively built a neighborhood where the neighbors arrived from completely different centuries.

Picking three characters in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is the start of learning how they work as one team. A partner's assist can cover a gap or keep an opponent busy while your main fighter gets closer. Even familiar Marvel powers take on a new job when you're using them to extend a combo.

The crossover matches are half the fun. You can put Doctor Strange on a team with Phoenix Wright and see how magic and a courtroom objection share the same screen.

Being president barely prepares the Boss for the alien invasion in Saints Row IV: Re-Elected. Once you're inside a simulated Steelport, super jumps and bursts of speed make the city a place to leap across rather than drive through. The adult humor is loud, and the whole adventure treats having too much power as an invitation to get ridiculous.

Charge a jump from the sidewalk and clear a building. Before long, grabbing another car can feel like an unnecessary step.

A tiny deck and short matches make Marvel Snap easy to start thinking about between other games. You play cards across three locations, and the challenge is getting enough power onto two of them by the end. A familiar hero's ability can give a card a job you learn to build around.

The locations can upset a careful plan. A rule revealed after you've started committing cards might suddenly make the lane you ignored the one you wish you'd played into.

You get to make the troublemaker in LEGO DC Super-Villains. Create a villain, choose their look and head out with DC's bad guys when a new threat shakes up the usual balance. The custom character stays involved in the story, so the person you built feels like part of the cast rather than a spare option.

New abilities make that character more useful as the adventure continues. A villain who started as your own odd costume idea can end up handling obstacles for famous DC faces.

Rescuing Splinter means getting better at the journey in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate, even when a run ends before you reach him. Fight through rooms, pick upgrades and see which powers work with your Turtle's attacks. The roguelite structure gives another attempt its own shape instead of asking you to repeat every fight in the same way.

A new power combination can change which enemy you want to tackle first. The best runs start to feel like a build you've put together one room at a time.

26. Batman: Arkham Origins

A younger Batman has a very bad holiday ahead in Batman: Arkham Origins. Assassins are after him, the police aren't especially helpful and the city has plenty of distractions between confrontations. The solo campaign gives the familiar rooftop travel a colder setting and a story about a Batman who still has things to learn.

The detective work has a striking trick. Reconstruct a crime scene and scrub through the sequence of events to follow a detail you couldn't have spotted standing there afterward.

You're strong enough to survive the invasion in Megaton Rainfall, but the people below you aren't. Fly toward alien attackers and fire energy blasts while keeping track of the buildings behind your target. Playing in first person makes the change from hovering over a street to racing above the city feel enormous.

Missing a shot is the part that hurts. An attack meant for a spacecraft can hit a skyscraper and leave the civilians you were protecting in much more danger.

28. LEGO The Incredibles

The fun in LEGO The Incredibles is seeing how the family shares a problem. Mr. Incredible can handle something heavy, while Violet's powers give her a different way through a dangerous spot. The adventure pulls from both Pixar films and suits local co-op when two players want to work through a level together.

Elastigirl is especially good at making an obstacle look silly. A space that's awkward for everybody else can be the opening her stretched-out body was waiting for.

29. South Park: The Fractured But Whole

The New Kid joins a superhero feud in South Park: The Fractured But Whole, with a costume and powers you can shape as the adventure moves along. Fights take place on a grid, so moving somebody into the right square can matter as much as choosing a strong attack. The jokes are firmly for adults who already know what South Park is like.

Even a useful power becomes a punchline. Time-bending fart abilities can interrupt the action and leave a carefully arranged superhero fight looking deeply undignified.

Seven games make Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics a great place to see how Marvel characters became arcade regulars. You can try older fighting lineups, practice with a favorite team and find out why people still talk about those huge sprites and supers. It's particularly appealing if you like learning a game with another player beside you.

The Punisher is the welcome change of pace. Instead of facing one opponent, you're clearing a street of enemies in a brawler tucked into the same collection.

The training room keeps rearranging the challenge. A familiar bit of space can ask for a new solution once the next set of hazards appears.

James Heller's infected body is the weapon in Prototype 2. Sprint up buildings, glide across streets and grow blades or claws when a fight gets close. This is a violent antihero fantasy with very little interest in looking respectable, especially when soldiers and infected creatures fill the same stretch of road.

Tendrils take the destruction further. Catch several targets and you can pull bodies and vehicles into the same horrible tangle in the middle of the street.

33. Batman: The Enemy Within

Bruce has a difficult new relationship to handle in Batman: The Enemy Within. John Doe is unpredictable, eager to connect and increasingly important to a story that gives your responses room to matter. The follow-up rewards paying attention to that friendship. A moment that seems like a simple favor can carry far more weight once John decides what it meant.
